Ended up catching the Muse set from Hysteria onwards and i so wanted to be there, seen them twice before, the crowd looks electric and i want to do Glasto! Very nice touch getting The Edge on - not sure how many people guessed that happening! But from those last three songs were crazy!

Pet Shop Boys looked f**king well good. Was really looking forward to seeing them but alas had to be content with watching them on telly. Good stuff.

I seemed to miss Orbital though? Was their set shown? I saw one tune, Dr Who, but that was it???

Having come back from the festival today, I am watching BBC3s coverage of the highlights and fully enjoying it. At least they are just showing music, rather than the annoying presenters.

The thing to remember is the BBC are catering for people that aren't at the festival, and most of the viewers have never been. So they would have a hard job trying to capture all the magical moments, as the TV viewer would not get them. it makes sense for them to cover the mainstream bands as that is what people will want to see.

Also, people slagging the BBC off for showing Florence and Dizzee all the time, like it or not, those two acts had some of the biggest crowds of the festival, so it just shows they are massively popular. Surely the BBC needs to show popular acts on its main shows. If you don't like it, flick on the red button or put BBC4 on and watch something more obscure.

    • Yet again we’re missing the WH Sunday reggae slot
    • Occident has got larger over the years and there's relatively little overlap with mbv and OR fans that I think it would work fine as it would divide the crowd so effectively.   They don't even need to give the biggest stage from an optics perspective either, this would be billed as a secret short set and used to promote her new album.
    • Really like this! Few artists a bit low I reckon like the Reytons, Yard Act, the Royston Club and Florence Road but I’d absolutely take this!
    • Yeah Olivia Rodrigo walked right past me when leaving the crowd during The Cure set.   I had to escape where I was in the crowd so was just chilling in the bottom left corner when she walked through with a couple of others.    Thought it was her or someone who looked incredibly like her but no-one else seemed to pick up on it, either not bothered or just too engrossed in their own conversations to not notice..
    • Why?   It’s all made up nonsense, an illusion for the masses.   Who do we owe these numbers on a server to, and how will they collect them?
