I feel we've been fleeced in the McArthur deal but it's just the way it goes. If he played for one of the ugly susters he'd probably be worth twice as much.

Glad he got the move he wanted and deserved, as long as he's patient I'm sure he'll shine down there. Hopefully some of the transfer money will get put towards the transfre fund but at least we have a few weeks to build now.

Ex Accie Andy Millen has joined Accies backroom staff as Billy Reids Assistant. Great news as he's well respected amongst the Accies support, I can just about remember seeing him play in the early 90s. It's been suggested that he's been brought in as an eventual replacement for Reid and if so I think it's a good bit of business for Accies.

We've got a Slovakian international keeper on trial with us in Ireland. Would like to see us get our keeper situation sorted with a few pre season games for him to bed into the team

Me and my missus favourite sexual position is called the "Celtic in Europe"...

Neither of us known what we're doing or why we're there, there's no passion, no communication & we never make it past the 1st stage. There's horrible dribbling & never a clean sheet. Its over far too quickly & when it does end I know it'll be at least another f**king year before it happens again!

    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
