It would be flat in 4 to 5 hours. We unplug ours when travelling even if we stop off at a service station. You would be better off with an Igloo Maxcold which you put huge iceblocks in and they last 5 days. No power needed! :)

Igloo looks good, but expensive and to late to order one online now anyhow.

Bucket of water is good but where to keep it. My Father keeps on about a canvas bag, but I iagine people walking by "oh look cold beer left outside for us"
