would travel for SHM too. also all the folk that didn't go to rock ness are on my creamfields list too. Although would kill to have Bloody Beetroots, soulwax and 2manydjs there but seen both plenty this year already. Just being greedy!

I'd be travelling from Aberdeen. Not much activity going on in the Creamfields forum.

How is everyone planning getting there?

If everyone could get to Glasgow the train from Central to Liverpool Lime Street is currently £63.40 return. If we get the one at 6.30ish it gets to Liverpool about 10am and we had a carriage to ourselves last time.

I also looked into flying from Inverness to Manchester and then train across to Liverpool and it came in at about £120 all in return but then there is no sesh on the journey there!

Campsite is open from 9am Saturday til 12pm Monday. I'm pretty sure there was a pub not too far from Creamfields that offered camping in their grounds last year for a small fee. Still looked to be too much hassle unless you had a car though and there is no way I'd drive back to Inverness from Liverpool, didnt pick the car up from Rockness til Tuesday night!!

Glasgow to Inverness is just over £20 return per person on an advance ticket or just over £10 each if you do the friends fare.

There is also normally a Happy Bus that leaves Glasgow at about 4am. Dont think I could handle being on a bus for that long though, it takes over 5 hours I think!

I stayed at the aforesaid pub for camping on the night before last year. Think its called the Antrobus arms or something similar. will have the old emails somewhere.

Poleski, WeeSteve: get on board!!!!!

It really depends but roughly...

Ticket £118 inc booking (early bird are gone but they're only £10 more now)

Return rail from Glasgow £63 (that's prob an advance fare)

Shuttle bus Lime St to festival £14 return in 2008

Alcohol etc £??

Spends - £70 ish is all I spent and that was from when I left and returned to the house!

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
