I echo what others have said about taking Norethisterone pills to stop a period happening whilst at Glastonbury. I used to do that (and have a chuckle about being a lesbian on the pill!) but this year will be my first post-hysterectomy Glastonbury and no worries about pills or leaks! Hooray!

:angry: Periods at festivals can be dangerous....

I got a used sanitary pad stuck to my foot coming out of a long drop, tripped over and cut my head on the cubicle opposite......

had a bruise for weeks although all of the gang I went with couldn't stop laughing all weekend!

I think it's only Cerazette which tends to stop them all together. I used to be on it but it gave me really horrendous mood swings so I stopped taking it and changed to Micronor. I now get periods again but am back to my usual cheery self.
