Worth checking James Holden based on his recent DJ Kicks mix, may edge more towards the techno end of things rather than all out electronica though. Should be a good set regardless.

Thought I bump this thread to see if anyone had any electronics recommendations this year. Highlight last year was again holy f**k who I saw twice, even missed the Germany to watch these. A sensible choice in hindsight! Bloody brilliant they were

electronica thats on at glasto or just in general?

the picks for me at glasto will be....

maya jane coles at the wow stage thursday night, brilliant young house producer from london.great dj, plays some lovely deep sets and has some great productions herself

caribou - explained already

james holden - probably my favourite dj around, plays a set with remixes of four tet/caribou etc and alot from his own label the border community - in fact virtually everything on his label is worth checking out.plays electronica with a brilliant techno vibe to his sets.mesmerising in my opinion.

jamie xx - one of the msot unique producers around, have a listen to Far Nearer on youtube, cant post links cos im in work. playing friday evenin on one of the dance stages

Rebel Rave on the sunday night at the wow stage after everything finishes if clashfinder is to be believed will be the funnest way to end the festival. consists of seth troxler, jamie jones and damien lazarus (i think lazarus is involved)......anyways this lot play some of the best house music on the planet.both are signed to crosstown records.....i highly recommend checking out everything on that label too.

enjoy!
