Assuming all the idiots that ruin the crowd atmosphere are at Pendulum...

This is going to by FAR be the best set of the weekend.

Sadly, it's going to be struggle to get to the front row comfortably through Dizzee and Libertines.

There's a 6 page Arcade Fire special in the new NME this week with an interview they did with them in Montreal just after they had finished the album. Also a review of the new album which (no surprise) was given 9/10

Got my copy from hmv.com with limited ediion postcard set in the post this morning and after several listens...already love it and its an instant classic, Ready To Start, Rococo, Surburban War, The Suburbs, Sprawl II, Empty Room, City With No Children, Month Of May, We Used To Wait, Modern Man etc.....love them all...Best Record of 2010 easily

On Monday Evening on Radio 1 at 9pm after Zane Lowe's Show has ended (his album of the week is no surprise 'The Suburbs' ) there is a special documentary called 'The Story of Arcade Fire'

after giving it several listens, it's definitely better than neon bible, but obviously not as good as funeral. all 3 albums are different but brilliant. got my copy arriving tomorrow morning but couldn't resist so downloaded a few days ago.

i can be happy in the fact that they are still my favourite band, and reading is gonna be amazing

Ok listened to it a few times now and it's brilliant. A bit too long but that has got more to do with my awful attention span rather than any lack of quality. At the moment I've got in on about par with Neon Bible, nowhere near as good as Funeral though. Thinking about it very few albums ever have been or ever will be. Reading is going to be so much amazing
