Not so much an update as a warning...

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT even think about wasting your money on a hexi stove. Me and my girlfriend bought a few of them with some tablets - tablets lasted about 3 minutes, nothing cooked properly, toast (yes, the bready kind) burned to a crisp... absolute tosh. A complete waste of time and money. Luckily they were fairly inexpensive.

Will be getting some things from Home Bargains tomorrow, I think. They have these things for £1.99 that I can't even begin to describe - essentially they're just things you put into barbecues instead of coal and then just light up. Me and my girlfriend are going on a dummy run to Cornwall around my birthday anyway with all of our equipment so I'll get back to you with how successful they were and what other pieces of equipment we may or may not take. So far we probably have more biscuits and crisps than essentials.
