(cjc3001 @ May 30 2010, 10:30 AM)We were going to get the B&Q one but weren't sure if we'd get all that much on it, so we've ordered this one instead:

A bit more money but hopefully will pay off. Just got to buy some bungee chords now.<!--QuoteEnd--></div>

DON'T

buy that one. it will self destruct.

oddly i am a professional sack truck user (all terrain). The best ones are like te B£Q ones but the top of the handles join together in a loop and there is a vertical extra bit down the middle. these are super strong and, crucially, unlike the B$Q ones can be dragged backwards with one hand.Backwards is the only way when off road.

the handles on that are too awkward when your pulling it and not too good for pushing either........you want to get one with this kind of handle which is more user friendly

also easier for 2 people to pull....you should also pick one with the widest wheel base to stop it wobbling and falling over.

another tip is to bore two holes in the bottom plate and bolt a larger mdf or plywood base on the bottom which gives a larger area to build on, to help distribute the weight.

you should also get this for securing your stuff to the trolley....you should be able to get a roll at a cash and carry for £6 ...pile your beers, tent ect on the truck then shrink wrap it and it wont fall off, even if the trolley falls over.........
