Wildlife and animals at festivals.

So animals at festivals. I know they say there are none. At Glastonbury in 2004 when I was working at the Pyramid Infopoint someone handed in a baby bunny claiming it was lost. It was tiny and looked so small in the palm of my hand. Anyway I took it up to one of the wildlife "sanctuaries" to let it go. On the way I can tell you having a baby rabbit in your hand is a real fanny magnet. Anyway got into the middle of the reserve, let the rabbit go and then got away a distance to watch it. Unfortunately a f**k off big bird swooped down and flew off with it.

Anyway, I have been at festivals with ducks, geese, pigs, deer, dogs and sheep running around. One even had highland cattle grazing in the camping field.

Don't they fence an area off where the badgers are???

Wildlife is incredibly cool. I worked for four years at a wildlife rescue centre. I have to say it was a complete honour working with British wildlife; feeding fox cubs, badgers, rabbits etc... and then releasing them back into the wild once they are old enough to fend for themselves.
