I dont think the change is huge. We have conceded one fluke goal. I think if we'd got one last night it would have been a different game and if we had got back in front against the USA it would too- all i think we're looking for is a goal - A goal. I'll back us to take the lead and win from that postion on wednesday. If you'd offered me qualifying out the group to be in our own hands at Glasto a fortnight ago, Id have taken that

As for dropping the 'big names' - could you imagine the fall out if we didn't win with a weakened side?! It's a stupid suggestion. No-one performed well yesterday, but we need our best players to give us the best chance of winning the game.

Just watching the Netherlands v Japan game.

It's been terrible so far. Honda has been quiet today, which is a shame as he showed a lot of drive in the first match and has a good engine on him. I hear he's recently stalled on a new contract.

If we can't beat Slovenia in a must-win game without one player, would you really want to miss two hours of Glastonbury to watch us play Ghana (who will score 5 today, mark my words) or Germany?

Breaking news from SSN - Anelka is being sent home from South Africa after a row with Domenech.

Just goes to show - it COULD be worse than supporting England!!!

Oh dear. It gets worse from the French then, Domenech is a bit of an idiot to be honest.

What are the permutations for France to get through?

ANOTHER Aussie red card.

Wrong type of football, Harry!

Cracking penalty - good game this.

    • Rod Liddle has died. RIP.
    • Tickets on sale from 17th August but there is a special autobuy feature from 10th August- you log what you want to buy and then forget about it apparently.
    • Took my now 12 year old to old Trafford couple of years ago, for his 1st game. He fell asleep during the game, no replies needed. 😃   He is also a Wolves fan, my parenting skills are as good as Onana's goalkeeping skills.
    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
