So basically, this my first glastonbury and are among the thousands ridiculously hyped for it, but i was wondering what is the procedure for leaving the site during the festival?

In my past experience, ie Reading, you simply show your wristband on the way out and in , but a friend told me glasto involves some sort of pass or something? obvs this q is directed to people who have been before :P much appreciated x

You show your wristband and ticket and they give you a pass out, then on the way back in you hand over the ticket and pass out and they give you back the ticket. So if you intend to go in and out like the people in the campervan fields have to, then you must keep your ticket safe.

There's nothing to leave for! All you need is on site and there are no local shops or anything open during the festival so there really is no point. The only time you could possibly need a pass out is if you have a car and need to go back to it for something. Apart from that, the above is correct :P
