Leeds University RAG (Raising and Giving Society) have teamed up with Soundwave Festival to offer you a new festival experinence and a way of getting involved with Charity!

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A LEEDS STUDENT!

Love Music? Love Festivals? Love Adventure? And, by any chance, Love Freebies?

Then this may be the event for you.

For the first time Leeds Rag are working together with the very generous Soundwave Festival – the festival to offer you 4 days of music, boat parties and beautiful Croatian beaches.

Instead of taking the dull and tame option of flying, Leeds Rag challenges you to hitch your way across Europe to Croatia in time for Soundwave. Not only this. It’s also a race.

The winning team will receive FREE Soundwave tickets, PLUS FREE boat party tickets, PLUS a FREE bar tab.

The 2nd team to arrive will receive FREE boat party tickets, PLUS discounted festival tickets

All others to participants will receive guaranteed discounted festival tickets.

We are asking each team (you need to be in a group of 2-3 with one male in each group) to set off on the 9th of July from Leeds University and race all the way, what ever way you can to Croatia!!

Each person has to raise £250 for Mencap. Mencap are a charity that support disabled children and their families and provide them with long term help and support. Your donations really will do great things.

The deposit is £35 you can send that to us here at Leeds RAG and get a very snazzy Race to Soundwave T-shirt!
