Dance tent.

from a Reading perspective im hoping the dance tent is on the friday night clashing with GnR cause i'm not too fussed with them, but last year it was on the Indie Day clashing with Radiohead. (i did just look at the lineup and im not even sure that was the indie day :S)

Is it likely to follow suit or do they mix and match it yearly? I want it to be soulwax playign with all my heart too but i doubt very much

I dont think it will be on the GnR day. Id put a lot of money on NoFx headlining the lock up one day.

The dance tent has always been on Reading Sunday and Leeds Saturday since 2006, can't see why they would change it. Would love to see Soulwax on there but I don't think it will happen.

Its not always on Sundays at Readings, its been on Saturday before.

Dance stage is usually on the Sunday with Lockup being Friday/Saturday. They did change this one year but it proved to be highly unpopular.

I think Nofx stand a good chance of headlining the Lockup as well, but if they did it would have to be Friday so they could follow previous years where bands have played midway up on main stage then headed over to the Lockup for a 2nd set in the evening. Hope this is the case.

dance tent is going to be wierd this year. all 3 nme headliners are all dancey so there will be a bit of clashing going on

I vote for a 3 day lockup. Enough dancy stuff on the NME.

Wishfull thinking, i also think that 3 days of lockup would end up with a load of crap bands. Maybe not the first year round, but getting 3 days of good punk nd ska (and everything else), every year would be hard work.
