Dear god, this is a band I hated more than any other back in the 90s! The voice of the singer is worse than fingernails down a blackboard for me.

That "Put your hands on" song used to put me in a murderous rage back when I was in the university nightclub when I was out trying to bed the ladies.

Finally, an opportunity has arisen for me to call the man an utter ball bag right to his face!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO reef BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I very much liked their first album, I'll give them a watch. Didn't like the Hands song though. Did like In Bloom and the lullaby one.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
