Firey Fox in particular. I have certainly tried a lot in their range at Middle Farm but had half a pint of Firey Fox in Lewes a couple of weekends ago. It IS incredible and will get you royally f**ked after just a pint or two. I think they have another called Haymaker, which is the one I actually ordered in the pub but apparently the barrel had been changed to Firey Fox.

Its 6% and such delicate flavour and levels. And walking afterwards...interesting :P

Oooo, was just going to add this important info in the Aldi el-cheapo mostly camping stuff various thread but probably way better here I guess ! Aldi specials from Thursday 29th April apparently will include the following 'interesting' consumables:

Westons Organic apple/pear cider 500ml @ £1.29

Thatchers Katy @ 1.79 ........ yum.yum.yum lick.gif and all that

Thatchers Vintage @ £1.79

plus there's also some rather fine looking Belgian wheat/white beer, Hoegaarden, at £1.99 for 750ml esp for the non-cider lovers :P

Rich's cider

Easy to stop off at on your way to the site. Comes in plastic gallon containers and cheap proper cider! It'll put hairs on your chest. :P

If you buy the 'rough' stuff nd you don't like lumps, take a pair of tights to sieve it through before you drink. :P

Never been, Is that the little one night thing he does with the band/hog roast?

He always invites us. He said he had a bad time last year. Loads of disrespectful fecks turned up and took the piss. (not turning the taps off and walking away laughing it werent their cider as well as trying to fill up a gallon container at the end of the night - all for a tenner!)

Really p**sed me off, ruining it for eveyone.

I've heard Kopperberg doesn't taste like cider so much. Is there any chance Brothers doesn't? As in the Strawberry and Toffee Apple ones? Would love to be standing at the cider bus enjoying a Brothers but I don't like cider :P

Stupid question I know. Please just humour me guys.
