Need a car park ticket

I am in need of a car park ticket for the festival. If anyone has a spare one, I am happy to pay any reasonable price. I am giving people a lift down who are relying on me and they were sold out by the time we booked. If you can help please call Colin on 07986607991 or 020 8853 5156.

Thanks and have a great festival if you're going.

We might have to pay on the gate. How does this work anyway? Do they need to see your festival tickets before they give you one?

Will they be putting more on sale via seetickets beforehand?

When I got to the screen to pay for tickets yesterday I thought "Woohoo" - then actually pondered before getting tickets without parking (went ahead and did it anyway).

Then I went back to the same page and parking tickets were available (but I'd already bought the Glasto tickets by then). Grrrr!

About two seconds later I think the festival tickets sold out.

I've never heard of paying on the gate or seen anyone do it. The way you drive into the festival I suppose to be refused entry would be a major pain for everyone (it's not exactly easy to turn round and get out?!).

Still want a parking ticket before I go though!

As soon as you've driven into the site in your motor you're stopped in the middle of a field by the hi-viz militia for a ticket check and they ask where your car pass is. You say you haven't got one - give them £15 and they give you a sticker. Simples.

Also for those that have ordered a car-parking sticker, it asks you to put it on your windscreen when your journey starts. This is not a great idea.

If you don't want to be stopped by the rozzers at the services on the way down, dont put the sticker on. Wait until you can get the first glimpse of the site is my advice.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
