They said they'd be touring the UK in support of their new album which is out later this year, any chance they'll play Glasto? I've never seen them before but they are definitely top of my list of bands to see, and where better to see them but Glastonbury!?

For any non-believers:

Adam 'MCA' Yauch had treatment for throat cancer, but that's cleared up enough now for them to start playing gigs and touring again. They've played a few low-key concerts in the US recently, but they've got a long way ahead of them if they're promoting an album, that's a worldwide thing for a band as big as Beastie Boys...

Would love to see them headlining the Other Stage on Saturday, with Chemical Brothers on the Friday and Orbital on the Sunday. That would be me sorted for the weekend! :P

Seems we've seen the same pretty much the same bands at Connect/Electric Picnic but I liked them all and you didn't :P

Did they play 2 sets at connect? or was that just at the picnic...I thought they were greta that year (though the saturday night set was absolutely rammed, to the point of being uncomfortable until they opened the sides of the tent...

I've always wanted to see Beastie Boys live and never managed it. I think this year may be the year though as I have heards rumours that they are touring this year and may well be on the card for the Free Rage Factor gig (which would be frickkin awesome).
