Would be superb mate. The haters need to recognise.

They have 6 or 7 absolute stone wall classics. Place would go apeshit.

"S.O.S" and "Take A Chance on Me" for example. Fabulous songs.

Youre saying that an appearance by Abba would discourage your missus from attending?

Ive never had a problem with pop music. And in pure pop terms Abba's only real peers are The Beatles.

It'll never happen btw.

I agree that this would be amazing but v unlikely - isn't Agnetha a recluse these days and agoraphobic? All that fresh air at Worthy would knock her clean out and there would be no help from the Hitler youth, her ex-man or fat Benny.

Anyhow, "Winner Takes It All" is THE classic break up song of all time.

I agree with the people who says they're annoying. But if they did end up playing (unlikely, i know!) i'd HAVE to go to see them. They're just so iconic. I'd be dancing ironically right at the front!

But, to be fair, i think acts like 'The Orbital' (who people are going nuts about) are more of a "stain" on music than Abba. In fact, can "The Orbital" even be classed as music at all?

But that's a different debate. If Abba is announced for Glasto remember who told you first. Me. That's who. If they end up not playing try to forget i said anything.

Another excellent break-up song:

Is It Over? - Gene

Do you want another lover

Do you tire of me?

Have you had a better offer

Something wild and free?

I hope to god your sure

You want this other more

Than you once wanted me

I have been to see the doctor

He agrees with me

There is nothing that can stop you

But I can't dream

Half buried in a world

Where I love everyone

And everyone loves me

It's not normal but it's mine

And i'll leave in my own time

The one thing you can't steal

Is it over, over

Is this the end of me?

Is it over, over

Dispensable and cheap?

Is it over , over

Is this the end of me?

I have friends that owe me favours

They look out for me

They love me like a brother (only)

If your memorys so strong

How come you got it wrong

On what you promised me

Can you now ignore

How you felt with every pore?

Tell me that wasn't real

Is it over, over

Is this the end of me?

Is it over, over

Dispensable and cheap?

Is it over, over

Is this the end of me?

Is it over, over

I still want you

If I want another lover

I'll get one easily

I still have much to offer

Genius that.

ABBA = steaming pile of turd. I can only think that the frickin' "Sound of Music" soundtrack could be more grating. Or Michael Jackson. Or most disco. There's a lot on an equal footing for me.

Still, so long as it doesn't rain there will be a better option than watching ABBA (if by some miracle there are any legs to this nonsense - and there definitely aren't); watching the grass grow. In fact if it's sunny I'd rather lie down in the hot rays and try to get cancer than watch that shite.

Actually, other than Elvis Presley, Abba would be the longest shot there is.

But i heard on BBC Breakfast (i'm hot for Susanna Reid, btw) that they could be coming together for a one-off show that would be broadcast around the world. We've also heard recently that Glastonbury will be broadcast worldwide this year and Emily Eavis has also said a huge pop act has been booked.

After piecing these vague bits of information together i'm almost certain we'll see Abba at Glasto this year :P
