I think i'll give it a pass, to be honest. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to my Italian food. Wouldn't want to upset the ghost of my Nona Ulitimina sitting on my shoulder.

I'm such a snob when it comes to pizza that I can't even eat pizza in this country anymore. It just upsets me.

i hate doughy pizza. i like really thin pizza where the base has like no dough and it tastes a bit like a jacobs cream cracker.

Youre not going to the right places. Same in Ireland. After being in Rome a few times, pizza back here is doughy shite. But you can still get good pizza if you look.

or just make your own. my dad makes pizza dough for us. thin and yummy! though i still pack it with chicken and stuff that you probably wouldn't find on an authentic. f**k pepperoni though.

I've tried a fair few. To be fair I had a pizza at a small festival I went to up in Norfolk earlier in the summer and it was the best pizza I've tasted outside Liguria in a long long time.

The other thing that really gets me is when companies say they have prosciutto as a topping, but don't specify it's prosciutto cotto and not prosciutto crudo. w*nkers.

And the whole base doesn't have to be covered with cheese and tomato. It's not Italian rarebit.

Of all the supermarket pizza I've tasted, I'd say the Asda Stonebake Cheese pizza is as good as it gets.

And are you sure he's Italian? Raffael looks like the Spanish way of spelling it. If he was Italian, it would be Raffaele? One of my best friends when I was a kid in Italy was called Raffaele.
