My OH & I saw them on telly (Glasto 07?) & on the Pyramid in 08 & on both occasions we were very impressed. Thinking we'd love to see them in a more intimate venue, we booked to see their gig at Liverpool Uni' later in the year. What a let down! She clearly wasn't up for the gig, sang the first number half heartedly (A&E I think), asked the audience not to take flash photographs & then flounced off when her request was (inevitably) ignored. Some wag quipped: "Is this show sponsored by Tampax?"

Eventually, she came back on & reluctantly completed the set with no interaction with the audience whatsoever. I've not bought their new album on principal!

Saw Goldfrapp at Leeds O2 this week. Wow, they were absolutely off the hook live, felt like my ear drums were going to explode! Love to see them at Glasto next year
