How about it? I know they headined the NME tent last year but what about a mainstage performance this year, possibly 3rd down again like in 07?

Plus, i havent heard much of their new album, anybody heard much of it?

I really liked them last year in the NME tent, so would deffinately want to see them again. And the new albums pretty good, not as good as start something, but better than the last one I think.

I think they'll play again, it's not unheard of for NME headliners to come back the year after (Maximo Park did it a few years back)

They came and played at my cousins school last week as they used to go their.

Love to see them this year as I decided on Radiohead last year. Ive heard the new album is quite good but Ive only heard the single track once and not listened to anything else yet so ill wait to pass judgement.

New album is pretty good in my opinion. They seem to have gone back the style of the first album with some of the tracks.

Would love them to play.

For some reason I think they might take that 2nd headliner slot below Iron Maiden(?) at Sonisphere. The equivalent to the one Placebo have on the other day.

Am I missing something with LP? Saw them at V in 2008 and they were utterly shite. The lead singer thinks he's funny and he's really really not and he just talked and talked and talked between songs. When they did play they were all over the place. Just awful.

Maybe I'm just in the wrong demographic. i.e not 12 or from the Valleys.

Don't base what they're like live on that performance. Usually they are brilliant live, I watched them at V08 and thought they were utter shite.

Do they still play Shinobi vs... and all that? I've got that album lying around somewhere.

They ended with "Burn Burn" at Download 08, and I thought they did at Reading last year too!

They did play "shinobi" both times though
