ThunderRoad
Blondie's just announced a mini tour for June so maybe a possibility?
tricky106
I notice Wireless have an announcement tomorrow at 5.00pm. I wonder if a HRC announcement will follow? Just seen Slash is playing Glastonbury on the Sunday so I guess we can rule him out playing HRC. Edited April 14, 2010 by tricky106
sdaveak47
Well The Gaslight Anthem are apparently playing Glastonbury on the friday now

kaytee...
I thought the Gaslight Anthem were playing HRC on Friday then I seen the Glasto lineup....possibly some mistakes there? I can't see them jetting off anywhere in a rush. I wouldn't mind seeing them on sunday though but they couldn't change the lineup now
edgar
if gaslight don't play i'm gonna shit a chicken.

tricky106
Hopefully they will still play. Now that most of the Glastonbury lineup has been announced means that HRC will announce the other artists.
judyblue110
Willie Nelson maybe? Sure am bored waiting....
staffsknot
Now I'd watch Willie Nelson but I just realised someone suggested Status Quo and now my monitor is showered in orange juice... that is the best laugh I've had all year... wait they were serious. Hurricane11
News on the Sunday-support bands will come in two f**king weeks time. This better be good, a full reunion of the Beatles or something:-) Edited April 15, 2010 by Hurricane11

Hurricane11
So I see! Have to wonder though... why 2 weeks time? Can we assume then that some of the main support are artists who have not yet announced tour plans for this summer, but will do so in 2 weeks time? Or do we assume they've got NOONE and are stalling?!
trickytree
James seem to be getting mentioned a bit of late. They in Portugal on the Sat. Seen them last week, always a good turn!
staffsknot
The reformed James are really good (Tim Booth is absolutely nuts but fantastic) live, trouble is I've seen them about 5 times in 3 years now, epic festival band though. It's a little weird watching Tim without hair as well after the massive do of the Laid era too. 2 weeks HRC are being complete muppets, wont bother buying a Friday or Sunday ticket early next year! I just hope they have someone good in line as if they're still negotiating we could be in trouble. tricky106
Lets hope some names leak out before then. James or The Charlatans would be good for the Sunday. Someone suggested The Flaming Lips playing DSOTM, that would be epic and they are playing Glastonbury as the Other Stage Headliner on the Friday. Hurricane11
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Also, Mark Knofler is performing in Europe around that time - he would make a very welcome addition to the Sunday lineup ! tricky106
Just got details of two Pixies shows on June 3rd and June 4th in London, both fanclub shows. Could be a sign the be main support to Paul McCartney?
