Right lets start this early as things look to be kicking off, thers a lot of some getting announced elsewhere in Europe too so I can start this

I like Blink. I would hope they could do DL and not get aggreived by all the "Download is a metal festival" meatheads!

Besides, Tink said she would defo come too if they played!!! Whoop!

I keep hearing whispers of Greenday again.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I used to LOVE Greenday, but their more recent stuff really annoys me. In saying that, they are very good live. And a festival set usually means doing their best songs as opposed to the new shit!! Hmm.... we'll see!

I don't want to cause too much excitement by saying this, it's far from set in stone. But I'm hearing a few rumblings from good sources, that AC/DC are looking like they'll be playing. I'll post more news when I have it, but from what I've heard it's looking pretty plausable :P

at the start i was saying Soungarden, Rammstein & Deep Purple. But since that guy on some other forum said he works in the industry & said Iron Maiden & Rammstein had been booked by sonisphere (at a time when everyone was convinced Rammstein were already booked for Download) and that Download had booked Lostprophets, Pearl Jam and Van Halen. I mean against the odds he seems to have been proven right about the Sonisphere headliners...unless he was being massively lucky i think he could be being genuine and theyre our 3 headliners for Download aswel. I mean u guys can bang on till your blue in the face about ACDC & Metallica playing but ur in dreamland cos neither has a chance of playing!
