Roger Taylor (of Queen) for Glastonbury 2010

OK I'm biased (as my username shows) but I've been listening a lot to Roger Taylor's brilliant new single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8ZtaDOniZ0. It is probably that this will be the first track of a new album which will be coming out next year, hopefully with a promotional tour to go with it, which might fit nicely into festival season. Roger Taylor has worked as a solo artist as well as being a part of Queen since his first solo single in 1977 & album in 1981. To date he has had 4 solo albums + 3 as the frontman for The Cross (1987-93). He is a great performer with an excellent singing voice, including on his interpretation of Queen songs (far better than Paul ****ing Rodgers) and it would be awesome to see a Glastonbury crowd in motion to his

p.s. If anyone like the new song, please show support & buy it here for just 99p.

When I saw Queen + Paul Rodgers last year, Roger did an amazing drum solo as his kit was put together one piece at a time. When all 10 pieces were completed and he was in full flow, he quickly morphed it into I'm In Love With My Car with the band all stood behind him.

He was ace.

Ideally, I'd like Roger and Brian, but if it's just Roger, I could live with that! :P

Hmm, I absolutely adore Rog but his solo stuff is a bit cack. Happiness has a few good moments but Electric Fire has the dubious honour of being the only CD I've ever taken back to the shop because it just wasn't very good.

I'd prefer a May / Taylor set, possibly with a string of vocalists myself. And yes, that drum solo on the last tour was AWESOME!!!
