Hi there im sure this has been done to death but i didnt mangege to gets tickets for next years glasto does anyone have any idea how many tickets went back on sale last year and when they went back on sale????

Depends on the line-up really.

If it's amazing, then probably it will be tough. However there is no doubt that the recession and the greater number of festivals around the country make it much easier to get tickets than, say, 5 years ago.

my best guess is that they'll be around another 10,000 tickets made available to buy between now and the festival.

It's not possible for anyone (even the fest) to give a firm number, as there's no further tickets put by to be sold, there will only be 'returns' - these will be deposit tickets where the difference isn't paid, or tickets returned for refund before the cut-off date in early May, plus any that become spare that are currently put by for staff, traders, performers, etc, etc.

Two answers,

Some are going on sale now and again at random times, the best bet with these stay tuned here and join the mailing list(Its how I got mine).

There is rumoured to be sale some time in early 2010, around February when deposits are due to be paid by.
