Do they seem to fall at a certain time each year? I remember 08, was the Jay-Z announcement quite a while before tickets went on sale?

unofficially confirmed by Michael or Emily: sometime after 16/1 and before Saturday 17th February 2007.

Officially confirmed: Thursday 31st May 2007

2008:

Jay-Z officially confirmed: Friday 1st February 2008

eFestivals names The Verve (but gets day and other headliner wrong): Friday 1st February 2008

Kol & The Verve officially confirmed: Friday 8th February 2008

2009:

eFestivals name headliners: Friday 12th December 2008 (NOTE: they'd been revealed by efestivals on the forums about two weeks before this)

First act officially confirmed (Franz Ferdie): Monday 9th February 2009

Bruce Springsteen officially confirmed: Monday 23rd February 2009

Blur self-confirm: Friday 27th February 2009

Blur officially confirmed: Monday 2nd March 2009

Neil Young officially confirmed: Monday 9th March 2009
