One mate was told hours ago. I kept saying 'they'll go soon - try NOW!'. He said he'd try after work. Now sold out.

Sigh. You can only do so much.

Still, Staberinde and many more of you are all sorted so a successful day methinks.

congratulations to all who got tickets this time round... i managed to secure some for work colleagues again and have now been given the illustrious title of Ticket Mistress!!! oh yeeeeeaaaaah baby!

you have once again allowed me to be a legend in the workplace and for that i thank you :)

on a slightly sadder note... i will still be solo raving until my friend gets off her butt and sorts out her registration... its literally driving me crazy that she's being so lazy about it but hey ho... solo raving has its perks i imagine :)

I love ticket monday! :):):P

Thank you so much who ever sent the email! I am so excited!

I just drooped my friend off at the station coincidently the one who will be coming with me! I checked on my palm pre(That i got literally two weeks ago) and had an email notification, saw the one about glasto tickets and clicked the link at Waterloo station, made a phone call to my friend to get her reg number Then a brick wall once I had the reg numbers, was trying for about 20 minutes to get through but it wouldn't' let me get past entering my number! AHHH I gave up sad and depressed and lost the wifi i was using and switched to 3g as I was going down the escalator to the tube!. Saw it had got through to the next page and come back up the escalator to get a better signal, entered card details, got the confirmation screan, was smiling all the way back on my train. Checked my email again as I was walking down my road and confirmation email!

I AM GOING GLASTO 2010 BABY*! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:

Top Tip: Get a smart phone and decent internet plan on your mobile:P

*If i manage to get a job to pay for the rest of the ticket and spending money:P

Can relax now!:):P:):D:D:D

This is ridiculous, I thought all that b****** about gaps opening up in seetickets' system had finished so I haven't looked for ages now, missed out for what must be the 3rd or 4th time now, why the f*** have tickets gone on sale again, thought that was it for 2010 :)

Still going on my own and its made a rubbish day even worse :P

don't give up hope yet; 2004 without a ticket, I got one as late as two weeks before the festival; as such I was pretty relaxed about my chances when I missed out on ticket day this year knowing I had 8 months to get one. (got one today)

There'll be at least two more resales; the "pay balance" deadline in feb and "last cancellations deadline" end of may...and quite probably a few more here and there. Set homepage as the g2010 link, join niblet's email group and check here often and I'm sure you'll get through for mates etc.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
