I'd love to think so, and for a while the big headliner-shaped gaps on the poster for Fri, Sat and Sun made me think they'd whip a few big names out at the last minute - wouldn't be the first time EXIT have done that.

But the longer it goes on without even a rumour of new additions, then the less likely it's looking to me. I think that this may well be the finished line-up.

QUOTE (maria b @ Jun 5 2010, 11:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi Im looking to share accommodation for the festival too. get in touch if you still want to get a few people together and maybe we can get an apartment

Hey, i have a camp ticket and a tent, however 2 friends of mine cancelled going to EXIT coz of the World Cup (football nerds), so there's space in my tent (can accomodate 4 people comfortably). About the camping site, sleeping and staying in tent becomes unbearable after 2 p.m. because of the heat, but there are big places with nice shade and bearable weather around the tent sites. Placing tents there is forbidden since the accident 2 years ago when a huge branch fell and killed one guy.

However, if you plan on booking a hostel/dorm room, i'd be happy to come with you. The more the merrier, if interested hit me up with a PM or add me on facebook : Igor Cetkovic

Me and two friends are coming to camp but don't have a tent (hand luggage!). If you end up getting a hostel room, would there be any chance of us being able to borrow your tent? We're not looking forward to the prospect of finding one in Novi Sad on the evening we arrive...

this is without question one of the most bizarre requests i've ever heard in my life.

why don't you buy a tent and spend the £15 each way on bringing it with you, instead of asking randoms on the internet if you can borrow their tent?

Yeah, I'm aware how bizarre it is, but it'll cost us £30 to get a tent there and there's barely any time between when one flight lands and our connection takes off. If there was any delay we'd either miss our flight (so we'd miss the festival) or we'd have spent £30 plus the cost of the tent only to not have one.

Seems a little less ridiculous to ask around, all things considered, especially if it turns out someone DOES have a tent going.

i dunno what to do to get there .. i can fly with ba to belgrade on the day so i save on a nights hostel fee which costs £100 one way. or fly to budapest a day earlier for £50 take the 6 hour bus/coach journey for 30 euros and then play an extra night stay.

maybe it works out better with flying on the day i dunno. anyway as i'm going on my own does anyone wanna meet up? or where you planning on staying..

also the train in serbia is really crap we took the train from novi sad to belgrade and it was more like over 2 hours and plus we were packed in like sardines cos it was the belgrade beerfest. also ppl smoke on the trains, i can imagine it being a lot worse especially if its exit. i would advise getting the bus.. its slightly more expensive but you get a seat and for me it was quicker to get to novi sad than the train.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Hey Susie, i'm in the same boat! I'll probably be going on my own again this year. I stayed in one of the 'hostels' last year, which kinda sucked coz it was dorm style student accommodation, with no common area, therefore I didn't get to meet anyone!

I would love to get an apartment this year. I found a cute little one for 3 people, and there are heaos of others for 4 or more, but i need people to share with!

I'll be flying from either Bristol or London, and probably starting in Timisoara, or perhaps straight to Belgrade. Not sure yet.

I'm 27, female, from Australia =D

Anyone else out there who wants to join us in our quest for friends at Exit?!!

=)

    • Having done all three, Porto is lovely, very chilled but nowhere near as exciting as Barcelona (nor as many options). Bilbao BBK has charm but again not a patch on Barcelona really.   ps and the beer was 5.50, not 5, last year 😉
    • Honest question and with the risk of getting slaughtered, do you feel people should stop the chatting on the entire field? When my group is in the front rows we surely keep the talking to a minimum and largely only about how great or bad the artist is. But surely on the main field when you are further back (lets say around the bars (200 meters from the podium) you should be able to have a conversation. If people are still annoyed about that I would recommend them moving up further.
    • I just genuinely think they don't understand technology and its felt like this since the invention of the internet.   Also see say a speech on a Monday saying we want to be a world leader in "this thing" then on a Wednesday another speech saying "this thing" is bad and needs to be banned/regulated out of existance.
    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!! (i am living in Switzerland so me making this comment says something 🙂)   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The XX 4. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 5. Gorillaz 6. MBV 7. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 8. NewDad 9. Big Thief 10. Annastashia      We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto or Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
