between 65 and 69 he was probably one of the prolific songwriters of all time and he almost never missed the target.

its such a shame that he's spent the last 40 years making mostly awful records

how do you almost put someone or something to shame... you either do or you don't.

Springsteen shortened his set for Glasto, he played 3 hours at the Emirates, past the curfew and got fined for it...

I remember after Pauly's set, there were some punters who were dissapointed... said he didn't really connect with the audience (whic I partly agree with), but with a set like that, as you say, he could hardly fail (I did really enjoy his set btw...)

Balls. What you really mean is that he made some mediocre or even poor tunes during his long solo career. However if you actually made the effort to find out, you 'd know that he has also made excellent music through many phases in his career, including recently e.g. Calico Skies

Balls. What you really mean is that you have no idea how much or little ive listened to his solo stuff and have jumped to a conclusion about someone. However if you actually made the effort to find out, you 'd know that i have listened to everything album the mans made in the now vain hope that some of the genius would resurface, only to find mere flash's of what was once brilliant

i didnt know it was shit before i listened to it!! i like to come to my conclusions once ive actually got some evidence to draw from. unlike yourself. i gave it a chance. didnt like it. or at least, the VAST majority of it.

and thanks for your permisson to air my views - i feel as if a weights been lifted! :P

Interesting. I may have trawl through and think about it myself. I did actually like some tunes on Pipes of Peace but hmmmm I'll have a retrospective sometimes soon.

To me Calico Skies could have come off the White Album....

      Well worth watching and the 2 Punisher series can be viewed alone, season 1 being the better one but both pretty good.   Bernthal's Frank Castle first showed up in Daredevil in a couple of episodes before the standalone Netflix Punisher series then popped up again in Daredevil: Born Again before this years One Last Kill and Spider-Man. To be honest all those old Marvel Netflix shows from the Defenders universe are worth a watch. I recently went through them all in order and really enjoyed.

      Hello eFestivals.   Some of you may remember a vehement poster of these parts who posted by the name of @Mash011 mainly in the 2010s.   Unfortunately he sadly passed away a couple of years back but today would have been his birthday and I think it’s only right that his old friends from the forum pay tribute to him (I’m his brother and I know he didn’t have many friends outside of this place).   Please join me in wishing a happy birthday to deadly departed beloved ex-poster @Mash011.   Happy birthday!
