2010 Headliners

Coldplay said recently they were taking a long break from touring when the current tour ends in Sept.

They started the La Vida tour last June and have been at it constantly since.

So zero chance for them I reckon

I could see Kasabian / Kings of Leon as a strong possibility. Would like one or other of them plus REM though.

Would there be an outside chance of White Stripes? They played Wireless a few years ago, so the whole corporate nature of the event does not seem likely to put them off.

I will be thinking long & hard before I commit to 2010 and won't early bird it again. The weekend was better than I expected though thanks to about4 or 5 very good sets and the fantastic weather (in Chelmsford).

I reckon we'll be looking at a 3 day festival for next year. I'd be happy with any of the following headlining:

Coldplay (Pure class live)

Arctic Monkeys (probably the only band along with Muse I've never seen live that I'm actually bothered about!)

Kasabian (Best live band out there!!)

Stone Roses (would love them to get back together but HIGHLY unlikely!!)

The Verve (I know it's never going to happen again as they have split but they were unrea last yrl!)

Muse (Missed them last year due to Ian Brown clashing - no regrets there but would love to see them!)

Foo Fighters (Fantastic on every occasion I've seen them)

    • The weekend in general has been amazing, but today was especially good.   The top three of Ice Nine Kills played, Bas Omens and Wntee Shakei, unsipable
