ok so these's about 5 weeks to go and people have more or less made their mind up who they want to see.

My question is . . . Is it too early to start packing? :-)

I know what ya mean about going ott cos l do it all the time. Table, chairs, big drum of water, cooking stove, the full sha'bam. Even take a second tent just incase something happen's to the first one.

I'm just itching to start packing but at the same time it seems abit early.

I just can't wait. Been looking forward to it since last year.

looking forward to it big time now(not least cos ive got a week off after the festival, plenty of time to recover haha) the only shame is that due to the line up there will only be 5 of us this year instead of the usual 12 or 13 but im sure it will still be a corker of a weekend.

every year when we get back, we buy a ticket straight away not knowing who's gonna be on, even if l didn't like who was on l think l would still go just for the camping, getting piss-ed and meeting ppl.

Normaly l go with the Mrs but not this year. She's stopping at home with our new baby and i'm going with my cousin and her 5 girl friends. So this times gonna be a bit different for me. Being in a bigger group and all that. Ooo! I can't wait. :-)

I'm at the stage where If necessary I have everything I need to just pack up and leave tomorrow <_<.

I can't believe the festival has flown around so fast this time. In previous years I've bought my ticket on launch day (usually March) and counted down the days. However, this year I didn't know I was coming till May, then exams period ridded me of that month, and now two months home for summer have passed extremely quickly.

It's gonna be a good 'un this year I can feel it.

I've just started thinking about the stuff I will need to buy to take with me.

I've been to every Leeds festival since the dawn of time and never once had to wear any wellies but last year there was no escaping it...I had to wear some. Anyway they hurt the heck out of me and cut my leg to ribbons - I've still got the marks.

So wellies are at the top of my list. Hopefully they will just stay in the car and I won't need to wear them.

I'm going to write my list this afternoon........Can't wait....not long to go...

I'm well looking forward to it now, I pretty much have everything I need to live there, bar wellies and a new tourch.

Drink wise I'm still yet to buy anything but I'm sure I'll be doing that in the next week or so in order to ensure I'm fully stocked by the time 4 weeks pass.

Food, I'm planning on letting the girls who are going sort that one out by giving them a little bit of cash per person a couple of days before.

Last year, I think the major problems to peoples legs and feet were that the mud was so bad that it was causing the footware to rub and move when you walked around. The summer has been a little better this year (touch wood) so hopefully trainers are all that will be needed.
