The Conspiracy Theory Thread

Anyone who believes that shagging married women won't eventualy end up with getting their faced kick in a bit of an idiot too though.

To be fair, some people get their face kicked in just for wearring certain clothes. So if I was to have my face kicked in, I'd rather it be because of bedroom shenanigans with a married woman. In fact, if I had both my arms broken due to married women tomfoolery, I'd still attempt to high-five strangers on the way to the hospital.

The moon-landing thing seems to have been dreamt up to keep certain people distracted from the likes of, say, conspiracies by our shitty current government.

You gave a solitary reason for the money being poured into the space race. I'd contend that the money was given for a variety of reasons from a variety of vested groups. Hence, you're using the rationale of a very specific perspective (military) and generalising it.

There were a great deal of reasons for the lunar landing.

There were meny reasons but the driving reason was the need to defeat their grate rival - Russia. Nothing even has just one explanation, but there is normal a dominant driving force/catalyst. They craved to defete their rivals for ideological, military and general civic pride reasonson. The space race was a good force at combining these to a spear head.

That's simply one perspective.

Another perspective would be the human desire to reach the moon. That's far more dominant. Combine it with the relatively recent socio-politial significance in landing someone on the moon first and you have yourself a moon landing.

As I said, there were a great deal of reasons for landing on the moon, the main driving force being our long standing fascination with space exploration. The socio-political situation of the time simply made it easier to achieve.

The only one I truly and wholeheartedly believe in is 9/11. There is so much information out there discrediting the official version, to the point where you have to laugh at some of the explanations given by the official version.

The main authority on 9/11 and other areas that are linked to it such as the 7/7/the Bilderberg Group/NWO/Bohemian Grove etc is Alex Jones.

Some links to vids for you lovely efests people!

MARTIAL LAW 9/11 (PART 1)

LOOSE CHANGE (FULL VERSION) - this is nice and clear in explanations!

As for the other conspiracies I've not really looked into them too much, I think there was definately something fishy with JFK.

9/11 conspiracys are as much a pile of shit as any other conspiracy therory. There are hundreds of indipendent researchers, who are experts in their fields, have proven every claim made by conspiracy theories. Even common sense should tell you much of it is bollocks;

just how long would it take to line the twin towers with enough explosives to make it fall like that?

How would they do it completely unnoticed in such a busy place?

Why would you need to destroy the towers after you have just flown a f**king jet into it full of fuel?

How many people outside of the Pentagon would have to be paid off to say they saw a plane instead of a missile hit it? How many people would have actually taken the money?

They say the people who were meant to have flown the planes into the buildings wern't good enouh pilots to do so. Just how f**king good do you have to be to hit one of the tallest buildings in New York?

One of the videos you linked is 'Loose Change'. did you know the guy who did that originaly made it as a fictional video, before people picked up on it, then completely changed his angle on it. He also completely changes the facts; for example, the pictures of the entagon with a hole apparently too small for a plane. If you zoom out on that picture, there is a huge plane sized hole right beside it. There are loads of pictures all over the internet you can find with a simple google search that show peices of plane debris with the logo on it. Even if you choose to be taken in by some of it, don't for a minute believe anything that video tells you.

Heres some good links that probably explain why its all a load of shit better than I can

Was 9/11 an inside job? At least read this one, its well written and very easy to read and won't take you long at all

Video disproving everything in Loose Change step by step

Sorry for the heavy reply, but I think the people who start these theories have no respect for people who loose their lives in these events. It's not a conincidence that for every major event there is a conspiracy theory for it. It's just some peoples way of handling the truth

I think the conspiracy theory that suggests that a dispersed group of fundamental Islamic idealists organised and successfully executed flying a couple planes into the twin towers on 11/9/01 is rather upstanding.

There are many theories involving conspirers. Some more meritable than others. You seem to be focusing upon the more outlandish ideas, much like the media does.

Well said.

Has anyone mentioned the Weapons of Mass Destruction conspiracy theory yet? Nothing to do with strategic positioning vis a vis oil resources obv.

Its well documented that Saddam felt that there was a greater threat from Iran knowing what Iraq's weapons capability was than from an invasion by the US

Are you saying that Iraq's disinformation on their military capabilities deceived the most technologically advanced surveillance organisations on the planet? To the extent they invaded the oil rich and strategically important country just to be on the safe side?

Me and my 8th pint can of Stella say so!... even to the extent that my dissertation on the neo-con reasoning for war with Iraq seems an inaccessible memory...

These the same sort of WMDs no-one gave a shit about when they were chucking them at each other? :O

Not as good perhaps as the ones the non-oil rich Koreans keep testing that no-one does owt about.

See your Stella and raise you an Asahi*. Yeah, I went to the supermarket with too much cash and a hangover.

* just looked at the label and, like every other bloody thing it's brewed in the UK. Now there's a real conspiracy theory. Nothing comes from anywhere any more, it's all ersatz under license shit.

Ooh, ooh, can I be the arbiter of urbane and witty?

Shagging married women is overrated. Get married if you're not clear on that one.

Bigamy is having one wife too many. Monogamy is the same.

How about that for wit?
