Scroobius Pip

Does anyone know the name of the band that were playing before Scroobius Pip on the friday night at the Queens Head stage?

It wasnt the band on the lineup and all I can remember is they were playing later that night on a different stage.

The band were wearing black leather jackets and the lead singer had blonde hair and was using a clock as a stage prop.

How bizarre! I was speaking to my boyfriend about Dan Le Sac/scroobius Pip about 3 hours ago when I got in from work and said me and my friend had seen someone before hand who was great and I would have to check the guide to see who it was.

So was it or wasn't it Tommy Sparks? I assumed so but then that name rings a bell as being in the guide and you didn't think it was?

Well the topic says scroobius pip, so lets utilise it.

They were pretty much the first band i saw. And i loved them. Also their song, "this song aint about the words the words the words, its all about the beat the beat the beat, this song aint about your brain, your brain, your brain, its all about your feet, your feet, your feet".

Anyone any idea where i can listed to that again?!

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
