Its the day after we got back...this is what some folks do! There are people with their opinions and expereinces who want to talk about it now we are no longer there and back in RealWorld. Work and families who didnt go still arent interested in anymore Glastobating and so funnily enough, people come in here to let off steam...or else they may get the sack or a divorce!!!

It will all calm down in a day or two as it always does but you cannot expect 175000 people all to have had a great time now can you?

Situations like hearing stories of girls having their faces slashed by tent theives while sleeping, the overcrowding, the price of food in a recession etc can and does warrant people getting a wee bit miffed with things dont you think?

Perhaps just dont come on the boards for a week so you dont get wound up by it all. I know others who are doing the same. Not telling you to f**k off or anything, just suggesting a very obvious alternative to stop yourself getting wound up by other people and their personal experiences and observations.

I had a great time but there were some things that pissed me off and where else am I meant to talk about them if not here? I don't think my colleagues can relate to issues such as giant flags or clueless stewards. Shut up yourself.

    • Yep - should have been the Stones.
    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
