Pendulum vs Prodigy

:);)

Pendulum better than Prodigy! :( have you gone slightly carzy! :O:D

The Prodigy own Pendulum in every single way. All of Pendulum's songs sound that same and they have just tried to copy The Prodigy and failed.

And having seen both live I can safely say The Prodigy are so much better.

Also The Prodigy's new album is awesome (and I don't even like Drum 'n' Bass) :)

its not really a question that really Prodigy blow pendulum out the water (I have seen both btw). by all mean pendulum are quite enjoyable live but they are poor man's prodigy

Prodigy are quite frankly bloody fantastic live

Ive seen both too, and The Prodigy are FAR superior in every way

Pendulum are decent though and who knows, when they've sold as much as the Prodigy, have a greatest hits, sell out arenas and headline festivals repeatedly, and have over 20 years under their belts, Pendulum might get to The Prodigy's level

Oh dear, looks like I'm going to be upsetting people with this...

Having seen live performances by Prodigy, I wasn't particularly impressed, just sounded as if they were singing over a backing track, perhaps it was just the one-off. It's a shame because I do love thier music.

For me, it's Pendulum.

and I disagree with the person that says their songs all sound the same...

PRODIGY...

in fact i can safely say that if more people say 'Pendulum' and not prodigy i would be quite happy to lick Jimmy Saviles nuts so clean. your nan would be happy eat her single serve, spine chillingly depressing , fu*k pit of a dinner off his somewhat loose, ill-fitting child distrabution centre..sack..thing..

IT WOULD BE SPOTLESS.

I know Prodigy have greatest hits etc.... thats what you get for having a 20 year head start and finding yourself musically over those year's, I have seen them a few times live, sometimes they have blown me away and sometimes they have complety wrecked my holding pattern, creamfields a few year's ago they came out blasting guitar music, whilst I am a Guitar freak it was not the time of the place. All the same I do love them, some of their new stuff is not re mixed enough and sounds too much like the original.

I am looking forward to seeing Pendulum this year, not seen them live and have heard nothing buit good reports on their live shows, so will wait and see atfer August.

Prodigy without doubt, Pendulum are aweful live and it reminds me of a club dj who talks over the music in a poor attempt to lighten the mood.

I saw them with Linkin Park at milton keynes and surrounded by such great acts as LP, Jay-Z, N.E.R.D they just looked and sounded aweful.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
