I'm sure that Thomas Turgoose (young actor from This is England, and other films) walked past me out of the crowd, down the front of Blur.

I bumped into Johnny Ball in the pub with the little beer garden near the John Peel stage. I walked up to him, and shock his hand and thanked him for his television shows (which anyone of my age probably would have found ten times more entertaining than science or maths at school). He was pleased with that, and said it meant so much to him that people thought he did good yadda yadda. All good.

Until that is he came to leave. I'd sat back down with my wife, and he came by us on his way out, shock my hand again, and then .... asked my wife for a snog! Now, as I've said that I've got a lot of time for Ball, given his ability to make science and maths entertaining, and I'm sure that resulted in more people takiing up science and maths at school, but if he comes up to my wife and asks for a snog from a woman young enough to be his daughter, I'd say "Oy! Ball! Nooooo!"

My wife said she would, but she smelled too much by that day. I glared at him and he ran away before I had a chance to ask him outside ....

Childhood dreams in tatters on the floor, it was. Devistating. It was like finding out that Mr Benn wanted a blow job from my sister, or something.

He wandered across in front of the JazzWorld stage, towards the Brothers Bar, mid-afternoon on Saturday. Or it might have been Sunday. My mate reckoned Simonon was with him, but I think it was just another bloke in a trilby.

Jonesy looked bloody old, like your seedy uncle who nobody talks about.

I met Lily Allen at the Stone Circle, she said I looked like Smithy from Gavin and Stacey and took a picture with her mobile phone. Saw Jo Whiley wandering around near the Other Stage. Think that was about it for me this year.

Yep he was. It was during Bjorn Again, well just before Bjorn Again. The BBC weren't very pleased at our loud excitement about seeing him!

Saw Mark Thomas the comedian with his son. Also, hanging around in Rabbit Hole when Guy Garvey walked in. My sister nearly wet herself. He did a duet with an american lass called Jessica Hook. Incidentally, she was very good and extremely pleasant to look at as well ;-) Think that was the 57th time I'd fallen in love over the weekend with Jessica not Guy. Unfortunately she was drowned out several times by the music on the Park Stage, but she battled through.
