Just a quick note to the non-dads - I like my morning cuppa white with no sugar, before I move onto the early morning beer, which should be nicely chilled. You may need to use a thermometer. The mini-fridge will need a portable generator so be careful when you carry it up the hill.

The first time in 9 years I have missed Glasto but am enjoying the TV footage

Just watched "The Temper Trap" with the red button coverage. Bloody excellant. Best band so far in my opinion.

Gutted I couldn't make it this year but tv coverage is ace plus there are no flags in the way, my feet dont hurt, I can get cold beers from the fridge, sit my arse on the sofa and get a good nights kip.

It's the first time in years that we've missed the festival, well have been going since 1983, no matter what - with babies in tow.

Why you may ask ???

We could afford tickets..............

We know our way there................

We like the bands playing...................

So what the hell is going on.

Oh forgot our untimely decision to up the family and Emigrate to Aus in January, which makes the whole thing a little bit more pricey than £175 per ticket.

Our friends have gone nevertheless, in our campervan - which is still in the UK.

Are we Jealous????????????? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a search but nothing has been mentioned about this that I can see.

The BBC Webcam is now streaming live video. I have just spent a restful hour watching the sun rise over the site, with the ground mist rising and the sun reflecting off the steel fence. Very nice

Doesnt matter what festival it is....the sunday morning is always the same, everyone looks hungerover and exhausted. Just watching everyone walking around in their ' still a bit pissed from last night' haze is quite funny.
