Lost Ticket

Hi all,

Long Story Short:My flatmate threw out my ticket by mistake with the rubbish.

As we all know, seetickets and glastonbury wont help which is understandable.

I have my booking confirmation, bank statement etc

Can i turn up on site and expect a favourable response?

Should i go to the festival office?

Has anyone been or know anyone who has been in this situation?

Is there anything in particular i shpould do? There is a group of 8 of us travelling from London 1st thing thursday morning. Some of them have mates-of-mates who are working on site and are trying to sort something out.

Any help would be seriously appreciated at this late late stage

See might be able to get you another to pick up at the box office if you call as soon as possible

If you have already made the plans to travel and can afford it, then there can be no harm in getting to the on site ticket office and pleading your case. Good Luck, and call in Ronnie and Reggie to sort out the flatmate

One of our team managed to lose there ticket from the car between Bristol and the festival 2 years ago. We didnt have that much ID but she still managed to get in by being truthful and pleading.

Take loads of evidence I'm sure you'll be ok

cant be a good feeling though, going without a ticket, even though you know you had a ticket etc, having to prove it is just another chore

my only worry would be the fact that they dont scan tickets on entry, so there's no way to see if someone has already been admitted using the ticket

so they may be reluctant/make you jump through hoops/do lots of explaining on the basis that someone could give their ticket to someone else, then claim they lost it and prove they bought a ticket etc to gain entry

have you tried the Festival office directly? Ive read on here posts from people who have had various dilemmas sorted or getting more positive and better responses from phoning the festival office directly instead of the seetickets line ?

Yeah tried that but got nowhere really.

I'm thinking that they may have that as the official line ie no ticket no entry and that when i arrive i'll stand a better chance

They also offered me hospitality tickets which im waiting for a reply on.

Gonna cost more but at least its peace of mind before i set off.

dont forget to take a print out of the order confirmation , ID and the card you used toi book the ticket with!!

With those you can prove you are who you say and you did have a ticket

the only concern is, that the official line is everyone without gets turned away, plus as i said...they dont scan the ticket on the way in so they may be concerned people could give their tickets away then play thge 'i lost it card' -
