8 hours with breaks from edinburgh, i reckon. probably less cos we're doing it overnight. shall look out for other scots in laden cars on the m5/m6.

Setting off around 4am from Stansted on Wednesday morning and meeting up with friends at services along the way...should only take 3 and half hours.

hour and a half to bristol on the tuesday and then about an hour from bristol the next morning. Pretty easy compared to other people's long ass journey!

Driving down down from Lake district Wednesday at 5pm ish should be setting up tent by 10ish then having some relaxing beers which will turn to more beer which will end up me being in drunken state happy day

According to Google Maps it's gonna take us 4 hours from Newcastle to our Travelodge, then another 2 in the morning down to Glastonbury.

Coming from Newcastle and the reason we booked a Travelodge is cause I don't think I'd stay awake driving 6-7 hours straight after an 8 hour day at work

I'm coming from the midlands... hopefully the trip will be no longer than 3 hours. I was looking for somewhere to get a bit of advice (but was to worried about a barrage of Monorail reference to make a thread )...

If you are coming down the M5, is it better to join the M4, the M32, (Through Bristol) and then approach from the North... or.... continue down the M5, and approach the festival site through Glastonbury. Thanks... and if i've made a ridiculous mistake in my planning/missed the obvious please let me know

about 24 hrs with a short ferry crossing inbetween and to make matters worse i've had to buy a new motor to do the journey which i pick up on monday, this is the dearest glastonbury i've ever done but i dont think my last one would have survived the trip

im driving from sheffield and plan on leaving about 1am wednesday morning then stoippin on way so hopefully no more than 3 hours then stop for a bit then head into the festival to arrive around half7
