Been to Oxegen, Electric Pinic and Roskilde so the next logical step was Glastonbury

Silly Question Really but is there anyway to prepare yourself for just how big it is?

Also how far apart are The stages? Is it possible to see half of one act and catch the end of another in bad clashes!

The only way to prepare yourself is to make sure you have something comfy to walk in, because there'll be a lot of walking!

And in terms of the stages, you will probably struggle to get between stages quickly, the number of people plus the size makes this tricky.

The best thing to do is just pick 2 or 3 things you want to see each day, and then just go with the flow the rest of the time.

As the crow flies I find is not an entierly useful.

Walking 'with the crowd' on the quickest routes. (as in not full pelt, but a comfortable pace as fast as the crowd moving this way and that will permit you to, going directly there with no 'diversions')

its about 40 minutes from the leftfield (cinema this year) to the stone circle.

About 20 minutes Other stage to the Park, about the same Pyramid to acoustic/jazzworld one way ot to get to the dance village from the pyramid the other way. The dance village takes a good 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other in itself.

You can do the pyramid to other stage in about 10 minutes , but of your in the middle of the field, it could take you 10 minutes just to get out of the field.

Love you feet, good shoes/boots, socks, talc powder, daily foot wash.

People carting folding chairs about are very common, noticably more so than other festivals (and a bit annoying to be honest). You may want to think about a shooting stick or a small folding 3 legged stool to take the weight off your feet. Almost as good, much less agro to carry, much less in the way of others.

Rule 1: never chase bands or run around trying to get between stages

Rule 2: it is fookin enormous and cannot be compared to anything you have ever done before

Rule 3: expect to get lost but have fun while you are lost...getting lost is the best part of G

Don't prepare for it. Close your mind to it and pretend it's Green Man or something.

Then walk up to the top of the King's Field, not turning around til you're at the top.

Then turn around and say "HOLY SHIT WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT!?!"

Thank's for all the help

So from what I read it could be possible to do say 30 mins of Bloc Party on the Other Stage then run to Animal Collective in the Park stay to the end there and go to Glade Louge for Dave Seaman!

I have also been to Oxegen and I would say the Glastonbury site is at least 15 times bigger than the Oxegen one (remember though that all the camping at Glastonbury is inside the site whereas at Naas it is outside, that makes a big difference.)

It is very difficult to compare the two sites with regard to moving from one stage to another. I would give yourself about 30-40 minutes to get from the park to the Pyramid...about 20-30 minutes from Park to Other stage

I would say don't rush and find other things to see and do 'en route'
