Hopefully I'll have my tent set up and enjoying my first stroll of to Kings Meadow for a cider and a relaxing smoke. I'm buzzing already at the thought.

That's probably not the right words but you know the song I mean. It's in my head now.

Hopefully the tent will be up, alcohol will be in my bloodstream, a smoke will be on the go and I'll be having a bimble, getting my bearings and wearing flip flops

Thank God for this site and its members - reading all this positive excitement and build up is making me feel considerably better.

My mate, his wife and child were the family who jumped off Beachey Head two days ago. Quite a shock, but these threads are cheering me up no end.

Sorry to hear that mate. It's the anniversary of a friend of mine passing away too, so will be sparing them a thought as I sit up at the stones reflecting on the past year.
