abu hamster
I have an 80 gig I pod loaded with stuff. However recently my hard drive died and I had to re burn all my CD's. Some on the items on the ipod are not not in my library. How to I get everything from my i pod into my library of stuff that is now on my I tunes. Some of it was stuff i have no chance of tracking down.

Toilet Duck
open your iPod in disk mode. Then it's just like an external hard drive, you can drag and drop from the iPod to your new hard disk (if you have one!)... Putting iPods with a Click Wheel into disk mode 1. Before placing the iPod into disk mode, you should verify that it is charged. 2. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Set it to Hold, then turn it off again.) 3. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears. 4. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears. 5. Connect the iPod to your computer; the screen on the iPod will change and say "Do not disconnect" Edited May 31, 2009 by Toilet Duck
