So who's really lookin forward to The Flaming Lips?

I think it's been a great booking on behalf of the organisers and I was hugely surprised when it was announced.

I think the only thing they have against them is the fact they haven't released an album since 2006 and it kinda flew below the radar so alot of younger festival goers won't have heard of them.

I would highly recommend going to see them on the Friday night, truelly one of the greatest live acts around.

I've only heard Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots but I love it. Looking forward to seeing them. That vid was pretty awesome.

Oh aye I'm the same, it jsut seems there more of an entertaining act and theres more to them than just music. Lets be honest if it was just about the singing they'd be bleeding awful!

see, i was looking forward to seeing them cos heard their live show is awsome but that's awful!!

i really liked the chems remix of one of their song, they obviously cleaned up his vocal's a bit or he's have a bad voice day in that vid!!!

I saw the Flaming Lips at T a couple years ago, they were a replacement for the White Stripes I think. Never knew anything about them but they were great fun definately worth a shot!

Before I heard they were headlining Friday I hadn't heard of them at all. So went out and got one of their albums last night. Can't say it's really my sort of thing, but I thought what I heard was quite good!
