This is great news for me and the people I'm attending with as it means getting to see both The Prodigy and Slipknot.

However...

What of the third stage? No way I'm missing Lawnmower Deth. I'm guessing they won't clash with The Prodigy but I'm eager to see how it pans out with that stage as well.

And also The Answer vs Down? This is another potential scenario that's just popped up. Really like Down but haven't seen The Answer yet!

Down Vs The Answer ....... No brainer, seen them both a couple of times and Down are better live. Phil Anselmo just has the crowd in the palm of his hand!

The Prodigy and Slipknot not clashing is amazing news!! The atmosphere for both should now be unbelievable!

Down is going to be the highlight for me to :-) I only have a Saturday ticket but it was Down playing that made me pick Saturday - I'm gonna disspear into a cloud of smoke for their set hahaha :D I'm pleased about the idea to stop The Prodigy and Slipknot clashing as the more great bands I have the option of seeing the better :-)

I totally agree with everyone's opinion's about Down, I'd love to see them again, have only seen them the once and they tore Download a new one on that day. But I'm a big fan of The Answer too. Its a tough one for me. That's what a huge open mind will do for you, lol.

Additionally, I'm beginning to wonder now how fussed I would be if I missed out on Anvil - there's still a Slipknot v Anvil clash as it stands, unless they get staggered too.

apparently similar case for FNM and Motley Crue folks, according to the official site there's only gonna be a slight overlap! so think i'll watch Motley Crue then miss the end to ensure seeing all of Faith No More! hot diggity!

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
