My friend had her 20th on the first day last year. Sure, we spent most of the day queuing up for ticket collection and drank 3/4 of our booze before getting through the gates but it was worth it once we were inside.

After a few years of persuasion, our daughter has finally decided to go with us and will be celebrating her 38th birthday on 26th as well as attending glastonbury for the first time.

She has decided to leave her hubby behind as he's not too keen and she wanted to finally experience what we've enjoyed for the last 3 years running.

Yay for birthdays at Glasto! Mine is the 27th June so was the Friday last year, I was wearing a clip on badge which two mean boys then stole from me after 12am - cos they said it wasn't my birthday anymore!! I was too drunk to argue! This year I am going to have a banner and not let anyone steal it!!

so tbh i think thats probably going to be a bit of a crap day. if i'm lucky then my birthday present can be a bit less of a hangover.
