i see the magic numbers have been confirmed for wickerman, i know they went down really well the last time they played glastonbury, seen them a few times myself, just wondering what the chances are of them playing. any ideas ?

Cant say Iam a big fan but I was surprised when they played in 07 thought they went down quite well

excellent live band but both albums haven't fully captured that.

recording no.3 at the moment, so won't be around for the major festival circuit i don't think. next summer more likely.

Also it does seem that if anyone says are x playing someone immediatley replies with a - hope not - they're shite type comment. It's starting to feel like the old TOS forums around here lately...

I've never blocked a soul on here. At the end of the day people are mearly voicing their opinions about fairly trivial topics to be honest. Unless somebody is making a personal, spiteful attack on me regurlary over a period of time I see no point in blocking them.

If anybody on here blocks somebody else because they don't like what they say, I say man up and grow some b*lls!

I think they are OK, not great, OK. My point was that people should be allowed to ask if a certain band is playing or not.

I left the TOS board years ago (I know they dont exist now) as it seemed the place was getting over aggressive, it does feel like that here (sometimes, not all the time).

I think we need to draw a line under this thread...

...and all just agree that the flaming lips are the bestest band in the world then I think we can move on
