REDICULOUS!

Headliners announced on 27th November 2008, one of the first festivals to release them. They started the hype months ago. Why start the hype so long ago and not reveal any more.

March 26th we get another small snippet of who is playin. This is absoluetly REDICULOUS!! I know myself and many people where I live are happy with the line up so far but are wanting to know the full line up.

"Over 120 Acts" Surely 8 weeks before Rockness the organisers know who is playing!!!

The website is a complete joke, never updated, no updates regulary to keep people up to date. Why the hell is this taking so long?

I expect the FULL line up, to be announced very very very shortly or else its the festival itself that will suffer from less ticket sales and not as much hype. The festival has grown so big now, its a 3 day festival which means there should be more organisation and connection with the people. We see topics on here about MySpace pages having their tour info and that they will be at Rockness. Why is this not put on the website? It is a complete JOKE!

Chris Rockness or someone, does any1 know when this will be sorted. Will this same problem happen next year? and for GOD SAKE!! WHEN IS THE FULL LINE UP GOING TO BE ANNOUNCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta agree about the delay, it's becoming a bit of a joke. Considering there are only 8 weeks left to go you would expect to know every act that's appearing by now - and it would boost ticket sales further!!!?!

I'm impressed with the line up so far and Rock Ness is generally a well organised festival (very well organised compared to some I've been to) but come on, don't keep us hanging on any longer.

What's with all the moaning? Poor me, there's not enough acts announced yet, if you're not happy f**k off! I'm sure alot of us would still go nevermind the line-up as it's such a breath of fresh air compared to T.

If not one more act were announced I'd still be more than happy with the line-up, some people should show some apreciation for at least having a choice of festivals.

i believe he is. roll up folks!

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
