BLINK 182

Not what I consider pop punk. For me, pop punk has to be harmless tomfoolery. The Offspring and Green Day were for the most part of the 90s punk rock bands, and NOFX still are.

Anyone who says The Ramones were a pop punk band "is obviously an idiot". See how this works?

I don't see FR putting Green Day and Blink on as two separate headliners as a good move. I think Green Day would be better, but i somehow can't see Blink playing second fiddle to a band that may be their biggest 'rivals' (used lightly) in that category. I think there is a good chance of a 'heavy' band on the Sunday next year, just to maintain the 'exclusive' headline bragging rights. Would love to see Eminem next year though, nice bold move from FR.

However, i do see R&L as the only major UK festival they would headline. They wouldn't get the chance to play Glasto and V doesn't seem right for them when you have bands like Snow Patrol and Keane across the bill. As for Oxegen/T - don't see them on that bill either, defiantly more suited to R&L.
