Just wondering if its worth all the queing and how quckily the que will develop? may be less stressful than buying online!

Last year people were queuing overnight. I'd guess that some will be there all day, and you'd have to get there before 3 (when schools start to finish) to have any chance.

I am not sure if i should go down to the on in oxford or not. I haved the day off work so can get there 1st thing and wait but i dunno if i can be arsed to stand outside hmv for 10hours when every other year i have got my ticket on the net with in mins of them going on sale. What to do, what to do?

It might be worth having a look at the queue around 2.30 if you know you're going to go anyway, if it's already long you can always head back to the internet before 7 without trouble.

I got mine at the HMV in Oxford 2 years ago without trouble, but last year it was packed when I passed it on the way to work, about 90 minutes before opening. I've got the afternoon off work, but I'm just gonna stick it out online.

yeh i live in bedford though so its a bit of a treck! il pester the friends who are queing all morning to see if its worth making the treck to oxford

HAHA! I read this thread and just spoke to a friend and just had a really funny thought... I wonder if some fool is actually queuing right this second somewhere.. I guess thats dedication! LOL

im going about 12 tomorow, going to queue at friar street as the oracle is going to be packed with people wanting to buy day tickets.

I'm not sure which one to go for. Which is most recommended, Oracle or Friar Street? I'll be in Reading 1.30-2 ish so I should be fine. Especially as the Oracle will be open. I'm thinking sandwhiches, drinks (non alcohol) and fags should suffice for the 5 hour wait.

I would recommend Friar street as the oracle will be the only place selling day tickets and it'll be packed, see ya at friar street .

i get paid on tuesday rrrrghh, i only want a day ticket for the weezer day, may try to obtain a ticket nearer the time. this is really sad for me, after 8 reading festival in a row, i cannot be bothered anymore, full of assholes and a line up to suit them this year, im taking my money elsewhere, but cant afford to miss weezer, im already gunna have to miss pixies at IOW.
